Admissions
Students joining Senior 1 must have completed Primary 8 and hold a Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) certificate. Admission is based on PLE results, a school placement test, and availability of places. Students joining Senior 3 or above must provide their previous school's academic records and sit an assessment.
Admissions open in October each year for the following academic year, which begins in February. We encourage families to apply early as places are limited. Applications submitted after January are considered on a space-available basis only.
You will need to submit: a completed application form, certified copies of PLE or previous academic results, a birth certificate or baptism card, two passport-size photographs, a transfer letter from the previous school (if transferring), and a recommendation letter from a local authority or church leader.
Mid-year admissions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to space availability in the relevant class. Families should contact the school office directly to enquire about current vacancies.
Academics
We follow the South Sudan National Curriculum as set by the Ministry of General Education and Instruction. Students study a core set of subjects from Senior 1 to Senior 4, leading to the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations used across East Africa.
Core subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, and Christian Religious Education. Elective subjects include Agriculture, Fine Art, Music, and Physical Education. A full subject list is available on our Academics page.
End-of-term examinations are held at the end of each of the three terms. Report cards are issued to parents or guardians within two weeks of the end of term. Interim progress assessments are conducted mid-term and shared with parents at parent-teacher meetings.
Yes. Additional guided study sessions are available before examinations. Senior 4 students preparing for UCE are given extended revision periods and past-paper practice sessions facilitated by subject teachers.
Fees & Payments
School fees vary by class level and boarding status. Full fee schedules are published on our Admissions page and are updated at the start of each academic year. Please contact the school office for the current fee structure for day scholars and boarding students.
Fees must be paid in full before or on the first day of each term. Students who have not cleared the previous term's balance will not be permitted to sit examinations. Payment plans may be arranged with the school bursar under exceptional circumstances.
A limited number of merit-based bursaries are available to high-performing students with demonstrated financial need. Applications must be made in writing to the headteacher at the start of the academic year with supporting documentation.
The boarding fee covers accommodation, three meals per day, and use of dormitory facilities. Students are responsible for their own personal hygiene items, bedding, stationery, and school uniform. A detailed boarding information sheet is provided upon enrolment.
Activities
We offer a wide range of clubs including the Debate Club, Science Club, Drama Club, Environmental Club, Music Club, and Christian Union. Sports available include football, netball, volleyball, athletics, and basketball. Full details are on our Clubs and Sports pages.
