Panekar Secondary School offers a wide range of clubs and societies that allow students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build friendships beyond the classroom. Every student is encouraged to join at least one club each term.
Debate Club
AcademicStudents sharpen their critical thinking and public speaking skills by arguing both sides of contemporary issues. The club regularly competes in inter-school debate championships across Lakes State.
Science Club
STEMMembers carry out experiments, build science projects, and attend the national science fair. The club is open to all students with a curiosity about the natural world and technology.
Drama & Arts Club
Creative ArtsFrom stage plays to visual art exhibitions, the Drama & Arts Club gives students a creative outlet and helps them communicate ideas through performance, drawing, painting, and crafts.
Christian Union
Faith & ValuesThe Christian Union provides a space for students of faith to pray, study scripture, worship, and support one another. The club also organises community outreach and charity drives throughout the year.
Music & Choir
Performing ArtsThe school choir and music group perform at assemblies, graduation ceremonies, and cultural festivals. Students learn vocal technique, instrument basics, and the joy of performing together as an ensemble.
Mathematics Club
STEMThe Maths Club makes numbers enjoyable through puzzles, competitions, and real-world problem solving. Members develop logical thinking and prepare for national mathematics olympiad competitions.
Environmental Club
CommunityMembers lead campus clean-up campaigns, tree planting projects, and environmental awareness activities in the wider Yirol community. The club fosters a love of nature and responsibility for the planet.
Student Council
LeadershipElected by their peers, Student Council members represent the student body in school governance, organise events, and act as a bridge between students and school leadership. Ideal for aspiring leaders and community builders.
